Horror Demands a Delicate Balance

Audio is most of the horror experience. The challenge: horror games need to be deeply unnerving, genuinely frightening, while still drawing players deeper into the experience.

It's easy to scare players with something harsh enough to make them quit. It's just as easy to play it safe and create something forgettable. The real craft is in the balance: horror that grips without repelling, fear that compels rather than exhausts. We specialize in that edge.
