The "royalty-free trap" refers to the problem that most video game developers have faced. Either a sound has already been used multiple times by someone else, it is low quality, or it does not fit.
We understand the appeal of using royalty-free sounds or music. But your customers are getting smarter. If you have found it, chances are, others have too.
DOES NOT FIT
"We used Native Darkness Productions to compose all the music for 7 Days to Die and not only did they do fantastic job of creating compelling content they went to great lengths to play the game and understand the product and our goals. The system we designed creates dynamic music sections from loops so this project would challenge the most technical of audio designers."

"My company used Native Darkness for the composition and sound design on our upcoming game "Hexzle". They were extremely easy to work with and thorough with their process. I couldn't be happier with the results and I find myself constantly recommending them to all of my fellow developers."

A Whole New Collection
We open the lines of communication and bring you into the creation of your music and sounds. The process is fun and the load is off your shoulders. We become part of your team and integrate into your communication channels and project management software. We consider ourselves plug and play.
We go by two mantras that set the standard for all of our deliverables: First, nothing less than awesome: We only deliver our best.
Second, do what you do best and delegate the rest: If we can't do something to 100% satisfaction, we bring on someone to handle the task at no additional charge.
TOTAL SOUND DESIGN
We strongly believe that music and sound design should complement each other. The best titles have generous overlap between the two. By having our team manage both, we are able to create a more immersive experience as the line between sound design and music blur.

Composer & Sound Designer
Sam and Hunter both began cultivating their passions for music in the mid-2000s. Hunter, being a performing artist in Dallas, crossed paths with Sam, who was a full-time producer. Working together they quickly found they had common convictions about the current state and direction of the music and gaming industry. The two decided to break away from the mold of mediocrity and change the process.
They have since brought many projects to life while working with clientele of all sizes. Continuing in the spirit of making the process fun and enjoyable for everyone.
